The Allegheny-Kiski Heath Foundation’s conference room was aptly named and dedicated as the William & Grayce Walker Conference Room in memory of “Bill and Grayce”, longtime friends of the Foundation.  Bill Walker joined the Foundation as a Board member in 1984, around the time of his retirement as CEO of Union National Bank.  After leading the most successful capital campaign in the Foundation’s history, Bill was elected Chairman of the Board in 1990.  Bill’s strong, steady and passionate leadership successfully guided the Foundation through challenging times in the late 1990s.  Even after he stepped down as Chairman in 2001, Bill continued to actively serve the Foundation as a Director until his untimely passing in 2010.  Grayce, Bill’s loving wife, was also a big part of the Foundation, assisting in fund raising, holding special events, and serving as a longtime and dedicated Ambassador for the organization until her passing in 2007.
