Walsh Scholarships


The Robert & Jean Walsh Scholarship Program provides an annual scholarship award to a student accepted to an accredited four-year college in a science or math major program, and to another student accepted to an accredited four-year college in a humanities major. Eligible students must be graduating seniors from Highlands High School or St. Joseph High School.  The awards are renewable for a second year, contingent on a number of factors, including satisfactory academic performance.  Students must phone the AKH Foundation for their Renewal Application (724) 294-3157.

2016 Walsh Scholarship Recipients

Kathryn Beck is the recipient of the 2016 Robert & Jean Walsh Math & Science Scholarship award. She will be attending Dickinson College majoring in Mathematics.

Jamison Nee is the recipient of the 2016 Robert & Jean Walsh Humanities Scholarship award. He will be attending Allegheny College majoring in Political Science and Economics.
