Walsh Scholarships


The Robert & Jean Walsh Scholarship Program provides an annual scholarship award to a student accepted to an accredited four-year college in a science or math major program, and to another student accepted to an accredited four-year college in a humanities major. Eligible students must be graduating seniors from Highlands High School or St. Joseph High School.  The awards are renewable for a second year, contingent on a number of factors, including satisfactory academic performance.  Students must phone the AKH Foundation for their Renewal Application (724) 294-3157.

2017 Walsh Scholarship Recipient

Deionte Harrilla-Gray is the recipient of the 2017 Robert & Jean Walsh Math & Science Scholarship award. He will be attending West Virginia University majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
