Truth
and Consequences Jail Tour Program
The
Truth and Consequences Jail Tour Program was developed in conjunction
with area District Judges, Social Services Organizations and Local
Law Enforcement Agencies. The goal of the program is to take
area at risk teens to the County Prisons so they can experience
the reality of prison life. While on the tour, the teens
will go through the booking process, are placed in a jail cell and
have a 30 minute lecture by current inmates about their life experiences.
The Truth and Consequences Jail Tour Program is funded by the AKHF
Healthy Teen Initiative and is offered free of charge to the public.
For additional information or to inquire about the next jail tour,
