Vocational Scholarship

The Vocational award is intended for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Is a resident of the Alle-Kiski Valley
Is a graduating senior high school student from an Alle-Kiski area high school.
Has a documented financial need for schooling.
Has been accepted into a vocational training program and an accredited vocational, technical, trade school.

By submitting an application, you agree that you meet all of the above criteria.

This single-year award will be in the $2,500 to $5,000 range.

- With the generosity of a local couple and other donors, the AKH Foundation has added a scholarship program for students entering a 6-to-18-month technical school program and fit any one of the following residency requirements:
- Graduating seniors from one of the following high schools: Freeport, Highlands, Kiski or New Kensington-Arnold.
- Students who currently live in one of the above school districts and attend a private high school.
- Students who currently live within the one of the above school districts and have earned a GED within the past five years.
- This year’s award will be in the $2,500 to $5,000 range.
